IMPORTANT INFORMATION: JULY 2026
Due to the resignation of President Smith, and in accordance with NYSCAME bylaws, Katherine Sinsabaugh has assumed the role of President, effective July 1. The creates a vacancy in the office of president-elect, to which President Sinsabaugh has appointed Matthew Royal, creating a vacancy in the position of Vice-President.
At this time the nomination form for Vice President is now open. Members may nominate themselves or another eligible member of NYSCAME for this position. Nominations will close on Friday, July 10.
On July 14, a virtual General Membership meeting will be held to discuss the nominees and the election process OR the Executive Board will act on the nomination if there is only one candidate.
If only one eligible candidate is nominated, the Executive Board will vote in accordance with the bylaws. If multiple candidates are nominated, the membership will have the opportunity to vote. If no nominations are received, the Executive Board will follow the procedures outlined in the bylaws to fill the vacancy.
